We are farmers and ranchers who see a decline in rangelands because of unwanted species and overgrazing. We are farmers and ranchers who provide eco-friendly solutions to improving rangelands, reduce carbon footprint, and enhance overall property management and ecosystem health through the implementation of regenerative agricultural practices.
We will intensively rotate livestock over rangeland with the assistance of H2A full time Shepards (also known as livestock herders) who live onsite and care for the livestock.
Implementing intensive rotational grazing involves dividing the rangeland into smaller pastures. The livestock are then rotated regularly among these pastures to ensure they graze the vegetation evenly and avoid overgrazing. This promotes healthier plant growth, prevents soil erosion, and allows for natural regeneration of the land.
The livestock herders will be responsible for managing the rotation of the animals, monitoring their health and well-being, and ensuring the grazing is conducted in a sustainable and responsible manner on a daily basis.
The livestock herder living onsite is a crucial part of our business because they can respond to any immediate need that may arise.
